Trams and ULFs
Vienna has had a tram system since 1865. The red-and-white trams, or "Bims" as they are affectionately called by Vienna's citizens, count among the city's most popular forms of transport and are a permanent feature of the cityscape. In 2009, public transport authority Wiener Linien counted 186.9 million passengers, demonstrating impressively that trams and ultra-low floor (ULF) vehicles enjoy a high rate of use.
We have adopted Vienna's traditional form of transport into our Transport Media family and have developed its modern and trendy image over the years. Catwalk feeling on tracks: it is meanwhile quite commonplace to see these mobile advertising vehicles in Total Look designs that incorporate the entire vehicle; however, they also offer eye-catching advertising opportunities such as side surfaces and Traffic Boards, as well as an additional option in the form of snap-frame advertising inside the vehicle.
The figures of the CAWI online survey by Ambient Meter confirm that brandings are particularly positive eye-catchers: 84% of respondents stated that they found advertising on trams either very or rather appealing.
