Well-equipped for an extended Europe

Gewista is also active in central and eastern Europe. Gewista holds 100% of Europlakat Praha in the Czech Republic, 100% of Europlakat Slovakia and 100% of ISPA Werbung; it also holds 72% of Rencar, a joint venture with the public transport authority in Prague.

In 2006 Gewista acquired the Metropolis Group in Croatia and Slovenia as an addition to the existing activities in these countries. Furthermore, the JCDecaux Group is active in more than 50 countries, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia and the Ukraine.
